dídac

didacvs · faber et narrator

a software engineer with a craft. a storyteller of ancient rome with conviction. i build things and then i tell them — what you’re reading is one of them.

⁕ tria opera ⁕

three crafts. one house.

i. codex

engineering

systems that fail without breaking

software engineer at motogp, on the backend: race management, timing and results, in go and postgresql. before that, adidas: the order history api in node and typescript, scaled across 25+ markets. and underneath it all, a physics and chemistry degree: the habit of asking what the system is actually doing.

ii. faber

building

first the thing, then the company

sole founder of mojodojo, a saas for martial-arts academies (go and react). co-founder and cto of vivvia, a real-estate platform (go and next.js). and now presencia, a website builder for small businesses in catalonia (next.js and payload cms).

iii. vulgo

rome

ancient rome, with the varnish off

on tiktok (~20k followers) i tell the political history of the roman republic — with sources, footnotes and no marble-museum reverence. the encyclopædia and the fasti on this site are the long version of the same thing: the conviction that the republic still has things to say.

⁕ epistula ⁕

write to me.

if you want to talk about rome, about software, or about something you’ve read here — this reaches me.

if you made it this far, thank you.
quod scripsi, scripsi.
